Where are training sessions located and what type of training is it?
Our training sessions are located in beautiful outdoor locations around the Kawana area. Throughout the week there is a mix of different training styles to give you the variety your body needs to get the best results in all areas of your strength and fitness. Sessions are designed to help with lowering body fat, increasing lean muscle, improving fitness and strength and above all to make you feel AMAZING! Our sessions are effective, challenging but don’t forget FUN.

Tuesday’s 9:30am – HIIT at Wyanda Park
Tuesday’s 5:45pm – Weights/Resistance Training at Buddina School
Wednesday’s 5:45am – Core & Glutes at Wyanda Park
Wednesday’s 5:45pm – HIIT at Buddina School
Thursday’s 5:45am – HIIT at Lake Kawana
Thursday’s 9:30am – Weights/Resistance at Wyanda Park
Thursday’s 5:45pm – Boxing at Buddina School
Friday’s 5:45am – Weights/Resistance Training at Lake Kawana
Friday’s 9:30am – Boxing at Wyanda Park
Saturday’s 7am – Surprise session at Point Cartwright Hill
How long do sessions run for?
We train for 50minutes which includes a 45minute workout and a 5min cool down and stretch.
What if I have injuries?
We can cater to most injuries and can give alternative exercises where needed. We are specially trained in rehabilitation and injury prevention. Before commencing training its best to chat to us about your specific circumstances so we can make a plan of attack.
Do I need to be fit?
Whether you are a beginner who hasn’t exercised in a long time or a seasoned athlete you will be catered to in our squad. Training sessions are designed to suit a range of fitness levels and we will ensure you are challenged to be your best.
What happens if it’s bad weather?
In the event of bad weather we have access to a local school with an undercover protected area.
Can I bring my children/babies along?
At Shine Fitness we are fully supportive of mums working out and aim to make it as easy for them as possible to have a regular workout routine in their lives. Little ones are welcome to attend with you to all training sessions, however sometimes for specific sessions this isn’t possible for safety reasons so best to speak to us first. The 9:30am training times are specifically baby/child friendly. These sessions are next to a park so this is a great time to attend if you have little ones with you.
How often should I train?
How often you should train depends on a lot of individual factors. As a general rule 3 times per week is a great benchmark to see changes in your health and fitness. After our initial chat about your goals, exercise history and lifestyle we can give you a more specific recommendation.
